Vicki Lynn Flachs

President and Chief Financial Officer

Vicki Flachs has over 12 years of business and financial experience in commercial and prestige residential construction. In addition she has 10 years of experience in residential sales and relocation. She is a cofounder of Global Fire Suppression where her current key responsibilities include: senior supervision and decision making, corporate financial operations, customer base and operational logistics, contracting and subcontracting qualifications, facility management and development, contract negotiations, vendor and supplier management, transporting requirements, bonding stipulations, human resources and networking. Prior to joining Global Fire Suppression, Ms. Flachs was General Manager for Brinkerhoff Enterprises, Inc. a specialty building and development company. Ms. Flachs was instrumental in driving lucrative attach sales by 20% and garnering relationships with architects, attorneys and local and state government agencies insuring compliance and contractual integration. Prior to joining Brinkerhoff Enterprises Ms. Flachs was a realtor for Weichert Reality administering to renowned neighborhood markets. In addition to her business acuity Ms. Flachs is a consummate interior designer and landscaper.

Jim Flachs

Vice President and Chief Sales Officer

James Flachs is a cofounder of Global Fire Suppression and brings with him a combined total of 34 years of sales, service, business, facility and fire suppression design experience. Prior to Global Fire Suppression Mr. Flachs was the Manager of the Data Site Division for Stillwell-Hansen. Utilizing his business degree during his tenure there, he fine-tuned his fire suppression technical abilities, supervised and recruited technical and sales force, researched and assessed innovative technological product applications, implemented service delivery models, amalgamated an impressive group of multitudinous principals and stakeholders. His accomplishments grew the Data Site division into a best in class operation. Prior to Stillwell-Hansen, the foundation of Mr. Flachs’ career path and affinity was molded from his experience in electronic testing and facilities infrastructure and service. Mr. Flachs is a member of NRA, NFPA and the FSSA. In addition to his specialty business savvy, Mr. Flachs is an accomplished diver, traveler, trap shooter and connoisseurs of fine spirits.

Tom Bonassisa

Design Manager

Tom Bonassisa has over 16 years of experience in fire protection layout and engineering design. He began his career in residential exterior construction delineation before applying those skills in formal training to become educated in CAD design. Mr. Bonassisa’s first introduction into engineering composition started as an electromechanical CAD designer for a communications company. He later was enticed to join Datasite where he specialized in fire alarm and clean agent suppression systems. Mr. Bonassisa is Design Manager for Global Fire and is New Jersey State licensed in both fire alarm and special hazards. He has received manufacture training as well as participated in NFPA courses; is compliant with NICET Level II certification and is currently pursuing Level III. His responsibilities also include product evaluation and sensible application for solution design to provide our customers with an excellent experience. Mr. Bonassisa’s contemplative resources actualized into an autodidact in Information Technology, bass guitar and voice. In his spare time Mr. Bonassisa leads his son’s Cub Scout den and is a member of a performing classic rock band.

Dean Orts

Installation Manager

Dean Orts is a Project Manager for Global Fire Suppression, a skilled electrical mechanic for the past 16 years; his background began as an industrial/commercial journeyman electrician, spending four years as an electrical apprentice with L.E. Ballance, Inc in Chesapeake, Virginia. Utilizing his abilities in problem resolution and mechanical ingenuity he entered the fire protection industry. Initially working in complex fire alarm installation projects for Datasite, he advanced to Senior Technician. Mr. Orts has since acquired factory training in numerous fire suppression systems and has developed excellent project management recognition; often managing systems worldwide in a variety of applications to meet our customers’ needs. Mr. Orts’ conceptual talent transcends to the outdoors as well where he incorporates epicurean vision into native plant landscaping, natural hardscaping and culinary aromatic herb cultivation.

Pete Mansueto

Service Manager

Pete Mansueto brings over 33 years of experience in the protection services industry. His area of concentration in education focused on electronics and architecture. For the first 10 years of his career he was trusted in the high security customer area of banking throughout New York’s five boroughs. Next Mr. Mansueto applied his electrical proficiencies in installation of security, fire alert and communication systems. For almost two decades Mr. Mansueto was employed at Datasite installing and servicing specialized fire suppression systems. At Global Fire, Mr. Mansueto is a Service Manager; he has acquired factory training in numerous fire suppression systems. In addition to his vast knowledge in the fire suppression field, Mr. Mansueto has obtained multiple levels of certifications serving the public as a fire fighter for more than 35 years; including as Assistant Chief. To his credit, Mr. Mansueto has been responsible for performing CPR successfully, saving nine lives. When he is not working or serving the citizens of Toms River, Mr. Mansueto enjoys watching and attending sports events including: the Yankees, Giants, Drag and NASCAR racing.

Chris Flachs

Design Master

Christopher Flachs has five years of experience in the fire protection industry. Mr. Flachs followed closely in his father’s footsteps; starting his education in West Virginia where he majored in Business Administration. Mr. Flachs’ next stop launched his initial career in North Carolina where he entered the insurance industry with a focus in the Property and Casualty field. He spent four years in this specialty before joining his father at Datasite where he learned the fire suppression business from the ground up in doing installations and maintenance, particularly in black and Vesda pipe products. A natural affinity to structure and design Mr. Flachs returned to school while at Datasite to obtain a formal education in Computer Aided Design. Mr. Flachs joined his father again at Global Fire Suppression where he has now achieved NICET level I certification and is actively pursuing NICET Level II certification. He is excited at the prospects his area of focus in the company can provide for helping to achieve the conceptual goals of our customers. Mr. Flachs enjoys skeet and target shooting when; as a lifelong fan, he isn’t glued to a New York Mets or Miami Dolphin game.
